What morally wrong things do you do?

I could stand to donate more to charity. Although in my defense I'm trying to save up for a cheap condo, and in the long run that should allow me to donate even more to charity in the future, so I guess I don't feel too bad about it.

I spit my gum out the window recently onto the road. I really didn’t want it in my mouth and just did it. I felt guilty after and I still do now.

I like porn with cute guys. As I am a guy, this is immoral in the mind of puritanical bigots.

I do eat meat which under certain sects of Buddhism is a big no-no, and I do consider myself Buddhist, though admittedly not belonging to said sects. And it'd be inaccurate to say Buddhism says anything is "immoral" anyway, just that if you do certain things you're just ending up hurting yourself as much as you're hurting others.

Outside of that nothing I do is objectively "immoral", detached from worldly conditions. Fact of the matter is it's impossible to be completely moral under our current system. No matter what I or anyone does, at least one of our actions indirectly negatively impacts someone else due to the exploitative nature of our system. And the most harm done is by the corporations and machinations in place- things that can't be dismantled without the permission of or the dethroning of those in power. What we do ultimately doesn't matter unless we root out the core problem.

Like there are definitely some things that are immoral you shouldn't do anyway, no question. Murder, harassment, sexual assault and rape, theft of another's most precious belongings, and such. Regardless of worldly conditions, such things are immoral. But I don't do any of them.

Like.... I guess I've stolen people's diamonds and other resources in Minecraft before? Does that count?

This is a great idea for a thread. I think the only time it feels like I'm choosing to compromise my ethics is when I'm lazy about recycling, because I don't want to make multiple trips across my building's parking lot to the dumpsters, and I know it doesn't really make a difference. It still feels wrong though. Otherwise I'm pretty good at not doing things that I think are immoral; although I'm sure others would say my meat eating, car driving, and file sharing are unethical by their standards.

I do not consider anything I do "immoral" but my perspective may be different than others. I think morality is very subjective and very varied by culture (duh!) and your life situation.

I feel I am living my life to the best of my ability, and am not using/abusing people or the environment around me, I am doing just fine.

Make a positive impact on everyone you meet and everywhere you go, you'll be better for it.
