I'll have a bunch more to share soon. Enjoy!
I was listening to that Omnigone album the other day. Had no idea it had ex Link80 members. Good stuff.Thirsty guys are great! With this and the Omnigone (superband with ex-Link80) Bad Time Records is steadily building an impressive catalogue!
That Bruce Lee Band Album though... as much as I love Mike Park, most songs sound way too familiar. Free Breakfast is very close to a Call me Malcom song, Inside out’s chorus.
If you’re down for some crack rock steady, there’s a new Dead Rejects album.
And, finally, if you’re into The Suicide Machines, German band Thee Infidels released a new song a couple of months ago:
Thanks so much! I need to be more active as well. I'll have a big post of albums soon.Oh man I always love this thread! I haven't been as active on it since we moved here from the old boards, but the OP has great taste and im always happy to see it pop up!
New bruce lee album was okay. I still think their last album was perfect however.
That lineup is amazing. So many bands I want to see. Happy to see The Loving Paupers playing some big events.Looking about I never posted about Supernova? How is that possible?
Anyhow, the best ska festival in America is coming back in 2020 and it happens in Virginia
I am "sponsoring" Mephiskapheles for this and if you are on the east coast I assure you it is worth the trip.

Glad you're liking it! Probably the album I've been listening to most lately.oooh yeah this Just Say Nay album is working for me. thank you!

Saw em a couple years ago in Chicago. Good time.
I don't think they ever broke up, although Bucket is probably the only original member.
As far as I know they've never broken up.
A couple of their songs haven't aged well, though I will say that they too have noticed and have made changes to a couple of their songs (most notably, 'In The Pit')Over the weekend Reel Big Fish's 'She Has a Girlfriend Now' came on shuffle and i had to make a serious side eye b/c in hindsight that song is a bit...uh...yeah.
Call Me Malcolm are genuinely friendly guys. The singer with the beanie and his wife spent a good half hour at a festival with me, having beers, talking about dogs and mental illness. I cannot wait for their new record!I never thought I'd see the likes of Call Me Malcom and Just Say Nay on here. Not only are they local legends, but I was lucky enough to share a stage with them over the course of a 3-day festival celebrating the life of Mike Crampton from The Pisdicables who was tragically killed a few years back.
Because of that, I'd like to share The Pisdicables stuff - I reckon you guys would like it!

sublime and slightly stoopid are essential to my taste in music, I’ll check it out after work:)we have a reggae thread!? nice!
so i don't know what flavor of reggae this thread is more onto, but i'm hoping sublime, slightly stoopid, rebelution, dirty heads flavor is acceptable. if not, oh well sorry lol
i came across these guys who i never heard before, really loving it. "music lives forever" line makes me so happy :)
It’s more a rebelution feel but it’s still great!Call Me Malcolm are genuinely friendly guys. The singer with the beanie and his wife spent a good half hour at a festival with me, having beers, talking about dogs and mental illness. I cannot wait for their new record!

That's awesome. Have fun! That sounds like a great show. Was lucky enough to see Vic Ruggiero this past Sunday at my friends bar. Nothing like seeing a great show by your favorites. Helps too when they are awesome and will shoot the shit with you after the show.Seeing Reel Big Fish this evening, supported by Lightyear and [spunge]. Haven’t heard [spunge] in years but they’re pretty fun for an old pop-punk band.
You need to check out Loving Paupers, Prizefighters, and The Uppertones. That last Bruce Lee Band EP owns. Only ska I've heard this year other than that abysmal Specials album.
Just saw that you posted this. Supernova 2018 was a ton of fun even though it rain a shit ton both days but I had a blast with my friends who live close by. Snagged VIP tickets on the kickstarter and got tickets for The Slackers bowling show the night before. 2020's lineup is completely bonkers.Looking about I never posted about Supernova? Yeah I "sponsored" a band on the Kickstarer and will be both in the VIP and the Slackers show and and am super looking forward to it. The previous supernovas have been highlights of my otherwise kinda lame existence so I am all in on 2020.Just saw that you posted this. How was it? I recall Reel Big Fish being one of the best live shows I've been to.Seeing Reel Big Fish this evening, supported by Lightyear and [spunge]. Haven’t heard [spunge] in years but they’re pretty fun for an old pop-punk band.
Yeah, it was pretty good! There was a problem with the sound about 2/3 songs in and they had to walk off stage whilst the rather irate technicians raced to fix it, but apart from that hitch they were on fine form. How was it? I recall Reel Big Fish being one of the best live shows I've been to.
